Entry Formalities to visit Andaman

Indians:

There is no entry formality for Indians only you have to carry Photo Identity Card for visit Andaman Islands (South Andaman, Middle Andaman & North Andaman)- Port Blair, Havelock Island (Swaraj Dweep), Neil Islands (Shaheed Dweep) etc. However, permits are required to visit Nicobar group of Islands and other tribal areas, which are given in exceptional cases. Application on a prescribed form may be addressed to the Deputy Commissioner, Andaman District, Port Blair.

Foreigners:

The foreigners can stay in the islands for 30 days which can be extended for another 15 days with permission.The permission can be easily obtained from the Immigration Counter at Port Blair Airport or Harbour on production of the passport containing a valid Indian Visa.
